  • WHAT AREAS OF TAMPA BAY DO YOU SERVICE?
    We are based out of Valrico, but also service Fishhawk, Lithia, RiverHills, Twin Lakes, Buckhorn, Riverview, Old Valrico and other surrounding neighborhoods.
  • WHY IS A MEET-AND-GREET REQUIRED?
    We want to ensure that you are comfortable entrusting us with your beloved family member(s)! We’ll come to your home to meet your pet, discuss their needs and find out your expectations for care.
  • WILL I HAVE THE SAME PET SITTER EACH TIME?
    Walk the Walk is a team of professional pet care providers. As a team, we are in constant communication about the best way to care for our clients, allowing us flexibility in our schedules and to be more available for your requests. It also gives a fresh face and fun new energy to the pets in our care! If you like one of our care providers in particular, you can mark them as your preferred choice for future visits. However, for overnight care, we prefer keeping the same service provider at the home for the duration of your time away.
  • HOW LONG IS EACH VISIT?
    Our visits range from 15 minutes to 60 minutes and more. We always customize our visits to fit your (and your pet’s) needs!
  • CAN I BOOK MORE THAN ONE SERVICE?
    Yes, you can mix and match services depending on your pet’s needs. Read through instructions for booking in the Time to Pet app.
  • CAN I USE YOUR SERVICES IF I AM WORKING FROM HOME (OR IF I'M HOME)?
    YES! Working from home requires all of your time and attention with little space and energy to focus on your needy pup. Hiring a dog walker ensures your pup gets the physical and mental stimulation they need, preventing boredom and unwanted behaviors. Long night at work? Let us help with your morning routine so you can catch up on some much needed rest! With Walk the Walk Professional Pet Care, you can focus on work guilt-free while your pet enjoys a happy, healthy routine!
  • CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE LAST-MINUTE RESERVATIONS?
    While we always prefer advance bookings, we can usually accommodate last-minute requests. If your visits are booked within three hours, for the day of, your fee will include an additional $3 accommodation fee (per visit).
  • ARE YOU INSURED?
    Absolutely. We are insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas.
  • DO YOU ADMINISTER MEDICATION TO PETS?
    We administer topical, oral and injectable medications, including insulin. We are also able to maintain specific time schedules for said medications.
  • WHAT DO YOU DO IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY?
    We like to stay prepared for any emergencies, especially if your pet has medical issues or conditions. That’s why we keep your preferred vet on file — so we’re ready to act if needed!
  • HOW AM I BILLED, AND WHEN IS IT DUE?
    You will receive an invoice through the Time to Pet app with a breakdown of services provided. A credit card is required on your profile and payment is expected prior to or at the start of care.
  • HOW CAN I PROVIDE A TIP FOR MY SERVICE PROVIDER?
    You can tip your pet provider through the Time to Pet app. Simply go to the Invoicing tab and select the invoice number, then click ADD TIP. See more instructions. Our pet pros work hard to provide the best care for your furry friends. While tips are never expected, they’re always greatly appreciated! Every tip goes directly and fully to your service provider.
  • I'M HAVING TROUBLE NAVIGATING THE APP. CAN YOU HELP?
    Of course! Access a full walk-through of the Time to Pet app.
  • DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?
    We offer packages that allow you to purchase our daily walking services in bulk at a discounted rate. These packages are to be paid in full at the time of selection and stay on your account for future use, with no expiry date.
  • WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
    We accept credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zelle and some cash payments.
